The key to making smoothies and staying consistent with the practice is to change things up and keep your smoothies interesting! Not everyone exactly smiles at the thought of kale, but not every smoothie has to include greens either. There are so many other powerful, anti-inflammatory and free radical busting recipes out there that you can adopt and make your own. This particular smoothie has a little zest to it from the ginger. Great for a wake-up remedy and to get your circulatory system moving and shaking!
1 Large Carrot
1 Green Apple
1 Medium Cup Ginger Tea (I Use Tazo organic tea)
Parsley (To Taste)
1 Celery Stalk
Brew a full cup of ginger tea in a tea pot or coffee maker.
Cut up the carrot, apple and celery into small sized, manageable pieces.
Add carrots, apples, blueberries, strawberries and celery. into the blender.
Add in the parsley. Pour the ginger tea on top and blend until desired consistency. Enjoy!
